AUTHORISATION FOR A PROVISIONAL STAY (MVV) IN THE NETHERLANDS

Information and procedures for Citizens of Thailand, Cambodia, Laos
and Myanmar, or Foreigners with a valid work/resident permit

In order to accept an application for a stay in the Netherlands for more than 90 days, the following documents should be submitted:

3 completed application forms, duly signed by the applicant, plus 3 recent passport-size photographs

2 copies of applicant's passport

Visa fee, to be paid in cash and in Thai Baht only (daily rates apply and are subject to changes)

Working in the Netherlands:
- Letter of invitation by a company registered in the Netherlands
- Contract of Employment

Married / Intended marriage / Family Reunion:
- Marriage Certificate
- Birth Certificate
- House Registration
- Declaration of Capacity of Marriage
- In case of minors, a Statement of Consent to travel abroad by
local authorities
- (Legalised) Letter of Guarantee by the Reference (Sponsor)
- Copy of the Reference's (Sponsor) ID
- Proof of the Reference's (Sponsor) income

Study in the Netherlands
- Letter of Acceptance from the University
- Proof of Sufficient Financial Means

Visa applications are to be made by the applicant in person and will be forwarded to the competent Authorities in the Netherlands for approval. Required time for approval will be approximately 3 months. The competent Authorities in the Netherlands might request
further documentation from you and/or the Reference (Sponsor).

Note In the case of an Intended Marriage or Family Reunion, the documents mentioned above should be duly Legalised by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Netherlands Embassy at Bangkok for further processing in the Netherlands.
