Buy a Condominium
TIP!!!: Think it well through before buying a condominium and make sure you know what you are doing or have someone with you that knows what to do!
Evendo as foreigner you are able to buy a Condominium, be carefull and make sure you know what you do. You are not the first that burned their fingers or get ripped-off by buying a Condo. In most cases it would be wiser to rent than buy!
I personally bought a condo after I though to be well informed but got a problem when dealing with the management of the condo in terms of corruption. So my advice is to check out management before buying a condo. Best is to have management from a professional management company. Basically they are hired to really do the job they suppose to do.
There a several way
s to buy a condo but ofund that the only save way is by transfering foreign money into the country for this reason and get proof of this transaction form your bank. This is the only way you can unconditionally own the condo, don't let Thai make you believe otherwise and never buy a condo or any other type of property under a Thai persons name. The biggest mistake a lot of foreigners make is to believe they own property they have purchased under a Thai persons name! see also next article:
